What are Cockroaches?

Cockroaches have six legs and two antennas.  These are nocturnal pests that prefer to be active at night. Some species also have wings, however, these are not particularly skilled at flying. Cockroaches may also produce unpleasant odours and hissing sounds.

Because cockroaches are most commonly found near waste they can be carriers of disease. With warmth, an abundance of food and water, homes are a great breeding ground for cockroaches. They can enter the home through cracks, vents, sewer and drain pipes.

Debris created by cast-off skins, dead bodies and droppings can aggravate allergies, especially in children and the elderly.

How to get rid of Cockroaches?

German Cockroaches are the most common roach we can find in our homes, offices etc. The most effective way is to control roaches is through the use baits.  Baits are odorless and very non disruptive to the home owner when being applied, while also being the most effective control measure available to eliminate your cockroach problem. These baits are only available to pest control operators.
